The GSBS Experience
Our campuses feature state-of-the-art facilities designed to help students explore and push the boundaries of modern medicine.
Every year, hundreds of TTUHSC students, including the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences students, present their original scholarship as part of TTUHSC's interprofessional student research symposium.
Graduate students often mentor undergraduates and incoming graduate students through summer research internships. It's invaluable experience for the undergrads and excellent training for Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences students who are aspiring teachers and collaborative researchers.
The best biomedical research is informed by insights from across the health care community. From joint degree programs like the M.D./Ph.D. to formal and informal project-based collaborations, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences student experience is inherently and intentionally interdisciplinary.
