TTUHSC Clery Act Compliance
NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL SECURITY REPORT (ASR)
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act is a federal statute requiring all colleges and universities participating in federal financial aid programs to maintain and annually disclose campus crime statistics and security information. By October 1 of each year, institutions must publish and distribute the Annual Security Report (ASR) to currently enrolled students, campus employees, prospective students, and prospective employees.
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) has established guidelines to develop and publish the ASR, as well as notify all currently enrolled students, current employees, prospective students, and prospective employees of this publication. The ASR includes certain specified crimes and related incidents that have been reported to the Texas Tech Police Department (TTPD), local law enforcement agencies, any Campus Security Authority (CSA), or other officially designated departments of the institution over the prior three years for the Lubbock, Abilene, Amarillo, Dallas, Midland, and Odessa campuses.
The ASR contains policy statements pertaining to campus security, crime or emergency reporting options, emergency response information, crime prevention, and crime statistics for the Lubbock, Abilene, Amarillo, Dallas, Midland, and Odessa campuses. The TTPD and TTUHSC encourage the reporting of all criminal offenses and campus safety and security concerns, and provide information on how, and to whom, to report crimes or other security concerns.
Copies of the ASR may be obtained in person from the TTUHSC Office of Institutional Compliance during normal business hours, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Additionally, the ASR can be found online at the "2024 Annual Security Report" link indicated below. You may also request that a copy be sent to you via electronic or U.S. Mail by contacting the TTUHSC Office of Institutional Compliance during normal business hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday at 806-742-3931.
