Students entering the Biomedical Sciences Ph.D. program begin as undeclared, providing them with the flexibility to explore their interests. After completing the core curriculum and participating in faculty lab rotations, students select their mentor and choose a concentration that aligns with their career aspirations.

Our Biotechnology M.S. program offers two tailored tracks to meet diverse educational and career goals:
- One-Year, Non-Thesis Track
Designed for those seeking a strong foundation in core biotechnology concepts, this option combines comprehensive coursework with limited laboratory research, preparing students for versatile career opportunities. - 21-Month, Research Track
Ideal for students aiming to deepen their research expertise, this track includes two semesters of intensive coursework followed by 12 months of full-time laboratory research, providing hands-on experience and advanced skills for careers in academia, industry, or beyond.

The Graduate Medical Education Sciences M.S. is a two-year, non-thesis program designed for students aspiring to teach anatomical sciences or seeking additional preparation for medical school.
This program offers:

The Pharmaceutical Sciences M.S. is an integrated program in biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences research, offering a broad education in areas such as brain and vascular pharmacology, cancer and endocrine physiology and pharmacology, drug delivery and formulation, and more.
Graduates of this program contribute to the advancement of healthcare through careers in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, and governmental agencies, strengthening the field of pharmaceutical sciences with their expertise.
The Pharmaceutical Sciences Ph.D. program prepares students for impactful careers in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, and federal regulatory agencies like the FDA. Students explore all aspects of pharmacy research, from drug design and delivery to formulations and therapeutics.
Admission requires a degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biology, or related fields. Select students may also be eligible for competitive teaching and research assistantships, providing valuable hands-on experience and financial support.
