Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions (ACEHP)

The Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions (ACEHP) is the premier professional organization for those involved in accredited continuing education (CE), continuing professional development (CPD), and interprofessional learning.

Members gain access to national experts, mentorship programs, and resources such as The Almanac, Career Pathways, and the Certified Healthcare CPD Professional (CHCP) credential.

ACEHP also offers a student membership program that provides mentorship, discounted conferences, and leadership opportunities through its NextGen and FutureForwardCPD initiatives

For those pursuing a career in healthcare education and accreditation, the CHCP credential — offered through the Alliance — demonstrates mastery in designing, delivering, and evaluating CE/CPD activities.

Society for Academic Continuing Medical Education (SACME)

The Society for Academic Continuing Medical Education (SACME) is a global community of educators, scholars, and leaders dedicated to advancing excellence in continuing medical education (CME) and continuing professional development (CPD).

Members benefit from access to peer-reviewed publications such as the Journal of Continuing Education in the Health Professions, specialized interest groups, mentoring programs, and networking through annual meetings and webinars.

Texas Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (TACME)

The Texas Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (TACME) is a statewide organization supporting CME and CE professionals through education, collaboration, and professional development.

 Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC)

The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) leads innovation and excellence in medical education, research, and patient care. Through its extensive professional development offerings, the AAMC supports faculty, administrators, and education leaders across academic health institutions.
