The Department of Immunotherapeutics and Biotechnology offers cutting-edge laboratory investigation combined with exceptional academic education for students interested in a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biotechnology or a Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Our nationally renowned faculty members have received grants from NIH, CPRIT, DOD, and private foundations, as well as numerous faculty, research, and professional awards. Research focus areas include immunotherapy, cancer genetics, nanotechnology, drug repurposing, drug resistance, drug delivery, angiogenesis, innate immunity in cancer, oncolytic viruses, tumor microenvironment.
