- TTUHSC Ob/Gyn Permian Basin continues their partnership with ECISD conducting ECISD Teen Pregnancy Prevention and Development.
- Dr. Kathryn Hutton is the Regional Director of the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women's Health. The Laura W. Bush Institute for Women's Health in the Permian Basin has hosted several events this year including, Feed Your Mind, Nourish Your Knowledge, Dr. Elisa Brown, Love Comes First Book Tour with the Bush Sisters, Feed Your Mind, Bless Your Heart Luncheon, Dr. Haley Hughston. The LBI has sponsored several other events in the area including Go Red For Women (American Heart Association) Luncheon, Wonder Girls camp (Crisis Center of West Texas), Centers for Children and Families Mental Health Awareness Series Luncheon.
