Process and Requirements

Students in the MD/PhD program (during the medical school portion) are required to:

  1. Complete and submit a new scholarship application each year of medical school on or before April 1.

  2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on or before April 15.

  3. Submit a tuition statement for Summer/Fall/Spring each year of medical school.

  4. Submit the Scholarship Acknowledgement Form. This is a mandatory requirement set by the President’s Office and Institutional Advancement.

  5. Notify the School of Medicine admissions office when transitioning between programs. 

  6. Notify the School of Medicine admissions office if accepted to the MD/PhD program after completing Year 2 and passing STEP 1.
