The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Media Relations team serves as both a campus-based news bureau and TTUHSC’s most direct connection to the external news media and the diversity of audiences that today’s news media serves. 

Your ideas are appreciated! Our best stories often come from suggestions. We're always looking for stories that:

  • Demonstrate the impact of TTUHSC’s academics, research, and community outreach programs
  • Are relatable and geared toward a general (not academic) audience of students, alumni, employees, and the community
  • Are timely
  • Have a compelling human-interest angle
  • Who has inspired you? What problem has your research solved? Give us the details. 

Many events, announcements, and recognitions may be best suited for our university announcements or events systems.
