Volunteer Service Opportunities
 

There are more than 16 different clinics associated with Texas Tech Physicians.  We serve a wide variety of primary and specialty care patients.  Many of these clinics utilize volunteers to carry out various clerical and patient oriented tasks to accomplish their mission.  

Our volunteers also serve our patients and learn about those accessing care at Texas Tech Physicians by working at our Medical Pavilion information desk.  We assist patients and visitors by escorting them to their appointments as well as providing information and directions within our facility.

The volunteer program is a great way for students to learn about the healthcare industry while serving their community and developing knowledge of patient care.  Opportunities are available each semester and applications are accepted before the start of each school session.  Check the volunteer website for updates on when applications may be submitted prior to the start of each school session.

In order to volunteer, applicants must fill out an application, submit immunization records, complete on-line institutional safety training, pass a background check, and complete a required orientation.
