USB Storage Device Restriction
Effective Monday, June 1- USB storage devices will no longer be accessible on TechLink computers. TechLink computers will continue to have all locally stored files wiped automatically after each reboot. Reminders will be displayed on all affected computers throughout May. This is intended to provide additional security and safety for PCs in the classrooms.
How to access your presentation materials:
- Cloud & Web: Access files via Box, D2L Brightspace, Email, or other web-based platforms.
- Non-TechLink Devices: Connect a laptop via HDMI or Solstice.
- Remote Access: Use the in-room PC to RDP (Remote Desktop) into your office computer.

Classroom Support
- Streamlines Scheduling: Manages scheduling for a variety of events including academic classes, faculty/staff meetings, resident training, and even TechLink sessions across the Health Science Center (HSC) and its regional campuses.
- TechLink Expertise: Ensures seamless scheduling and technical support for TechLink classes and events, fostering efficient distance learning.
- Audiovisual Powerhouse: Provides comprehensive audiovisual support for all schools within the HSC, ensuring clear and engaging presentations.
- Classroom Management: Oversees the maintenance and management of classroom facilities, including the Academic Classroom Building and all classrooms across the Lubbock campus. This ensures a comfortable and functional learning environment for students.
HOW TO REQUEST A ROOM
- Members of the TTUHSC community can reserve.
- Non-registered users must contact Classroom Support for reservation.
- Note: Library study rooms are reserved through TTUHSC library webpage.
