- The Self-Insurance Plan cannot provide nose coverage for new providers. Providers
will need to purchase tail coverage from their last insurance carrier, assuming the
coverage was a claims-made policy.
- The Self-Insurance Plan provides occurrence based coverage. Tail coverage is not needed
when a Provider leaves TTUHSC employment.
