Next Gen 911

Advising Emergency Medical Services on acquisition, selection, implementation, training, and meaningful use of telehealth and other digital resources.

TTUHSC F. Marie Hall Institute for Rural and Community Health has contracted with the Commission on State Emergency Communications to provide the Next Generation 911 Telemedicine Medical Services and Telehealth Services Pilot Project, as provided under Section 771.151 of the Texas Health and Safety Code.

Under this pilot project, usage cases will include, but are not limited to emergency services, prehospital care (including community paramedicine) and trauma care.
