CLOSING THE ACCESS GAP

Your Zip Code Shouldn’t Influence Your Outcome

In collaboration with an impressive network of teaching hospital partners, we champion advanced care options covering our vast region.

We are steadfast in our pursuit of funding to drive research, clinical trials and community engagement efforts, ensuring that patients receive innovative treatments close to home.

Increasing Access to Specialized, Integrated Cancer Care

TTUHSC is increasing specialized oncology care by recruiting expert faculty and providing newly FDA-approved treatments, such as immunotherapies and non-invasive surgical technologies. By integrating screening and treatment pathways with regional providers, TTUHSC can ensure timely interventions and improved patient outcomes.

These treatment pathways include connecting rural partners to cancer program hubs such as the University Medical Center’s new comprehensive academic cancer center currently under construction. Partnerships with treatment hubs will also expose trainees to rural oncology settings, expanding access to specialized care.
