Biography
Kofi Frimpong-Manson completed his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana, in 2019. He proceeded to work as a pharmacy house officer at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital until 2020, and then as a full-time community pharmacist at Ernest Chemist Limited and Dipsy Pharmacy in Ghana until 2022. He has also consulted for an e-pharmacy startup called Pharst Care in Ghana from 2021 to date, and served as an executive committee member of the Young Pharmacists Group under the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana in 2022. Kofi joined the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences as a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) student in August of 2022, and is presently working in the laboratory of Dr. Jenny Wilkerson and Dr. Lance McMahon with the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Amarillo.
