Biography

Paul Harrison Benson completed his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the University of Texas, Austin, TX in 2021. Harrison joined the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences as a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) student in August of 2022, and is presently working in the laboratory of Dr. Mahmoud Salama Ahmed with the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences on our Amarillo campus.

Research Interests:

Medicinal chemistry; drug discovery and design; in silico chemistry.
