Our Iota Mu Chapter has implemented a new process for funding conferences. We will set dates for submission, collect all applications (dates will be sent per conference) and then distribute funding using an approved rubric. Our budget is limited, so funding will only be awarded for Sigma Conferences. Funding will no longer be based on first come-first serve, rather a merit basis for participation in our Chapter events or at the National/International level. This ensures that our distant members are still eligible, although they do not live in the Lubbock area. The deadlines for submission and notification will always occur prior to the early-bird registration deadline.
The deadline for the Research Congress in Canada is April 15th. Recipients will be notified by April 22nd. Please reach out to Amanda Veesart-Iota Mu President at amanda.veesart@ttuhsc.edu if you have any questions.”
