Shyam Sheladia

I currently am an MD student at TTUHSC School of Medicine. I previously completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Dallas where I majored in Neuroscience.

My research interests focus on neurodegenerative diseases. I am particularly interested in the role that aging plays in diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. Furthermore, I am also interested in how drug therapies alter the brain in order to delay the progression of neurodegenerative diseases.

When I am not studying in the library, I enjoy playing sports and designing graphics.
