West Texas Summer Symposium on Hospital Medicine | Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center

June 17, 2023

Conference Summary

As the body of knowledge in pulmonary hypertension, opioid use disorder, acute coronary syndrome, brain and spinal cord injured patients, co-management issues in the care of trauma patients, nonsurgical diseases, various chronic diseases and conditions becomes greater, it is becoming increasingly difficult for the healthcare team to have time to assimilate new information.  With the use of experts in the field, this educational intervention is designed to keep teams in West Texas up to date with evidence-based medicine information on best care and management of hospitalized patients.
